K. Jason Krafsky’s life mission is to help couples experience all marriage has to offer, and live the Full Marriage Experience.
For more than a decade, Jason had helped communities and churches prepare couples for marriage, enrich marriages, and mend hurting marriages. Through his decade-long work at Families Northwest, and now with California Healthy Marriages Coalition, Jason has trained thousands of community, faith, and government leaders to advance marriage and family efforts aimed at turning the tide of family breakdown.
Jason’s unique expertise in developing community-based marriage-strengthening activities has made him a nationally recognized leader in the marriage movement. He is involved with the Coalition for Marriage, Family and Couple Education, the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries, the Marriage CoMission, and the National Marriage Movement. He has had the privilege to serve as a contracted consultant to one of the nation’s first federally-funded Community Healthy Marriage Initiatives.
He is the author of Before "I Do" - Preparing for the Full Marriage Experience. Released in the Fall of 2005, his premarital workbook has been adopted as the premarital program for churches of many denominations.
Jason has spoken on both local and national radio and television programs, and has been featured in various newspaper articles.
Over the years, Jason has acted as a relationship coach for engaged couples, and spoken at numerous marriage enrichment events. He has been trained in various relationship strengthening tools including Couples Communication, PREPARE/ENRICH, FOCCUS/REFOCCUS, and PREP.
Jason is ordained at New Community Church in Maple Valley, Washington and serves on the teaching team. He has held ministry positions at various churches in the Seattle area, including pastor-in-training at Overlake Christian Church, discipleship pastor at Coal Creek Chapel, church planter with Pacific Christian Fellowship of House Churches, and shepherding elder at Harbor Fellowship.
He graduated from Northwest University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biblical Literature, and with a Communications minor.
